The design of our website stemmed from various different aspects, we wanted it to both reflect the product as well as the group members. 

• Its bright colour reflects our group members happy bubbly nature but is also a means to attract the public eye.

• The header background image is of the structure of bioactive peptide molecules which is essentially our product we are looking to recover.

• The main backroung image to our website is of our product name 'pepACE'.

• The lilac background colour reflects the fact our team consists just of girls and also corresponds to the purple colour of the peptide molecules in the header.

• Our website name reflects the nature of our product. The name pepACE sounds like an enzyme name which is what out process is based around, enzymes. The word pep signifies the peptides which is essentially our product while the word ACE represents the site of action of our product - angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) to treat hypertension.

• Our website logo of a heart with a rhythm strip is representative of the condition we are looking to treat with our product which is hypertension - high blood pressure.
